NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 12th day of December 1973, presented to the said Court by P. B. J. DAVIS MANUFACTURING COMPANY LIMITED a duly incorporated company having its registered office at London. And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 13th day of February 1974, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose, and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN BLOCK XIV, OTAHUHU SURVEY DISTRICT, FOR PLEASURE GROUND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Manukau City Council requires and intends, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to take in the manner provided by the Public Works Act 1928, for pleasure ground, the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for the general purposes of a pleasure ground; and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the piece of land so required to be taken is deposited at the public office of the said council at David Nathan Park, Hill Road, Manurewa, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during the ordinary office hours; and notice is further given that every person directly affected by the taking of the said land is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, 32 Mulgrave Street, Wellington (P.O. Box 12–244, Wellington North).

If any objection is made, in accordance with paragraph (d) of subsection (1) of section 22 of the Public Works Act 1928 (as substituted by section 6 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1973), a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land situated in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, and in the City of Manukau and in the North Auckland Land Registration District, comprising 20.2100 hectares, more or less, being the part of the land described as Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 25887, and comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1847, folio 76, North Auckland Land Registry, as the same is shown and delineated on Survey Office Plan No. 48958.

The said piece of land is situated at and between Weymouth Road and Dr Pickering Avenue, Manurewa, and adjoining the rear of the residential properties on the south-west of Eddowes Avenue, Manurewa.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Wellington Regional Water Board Act 1972, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington Regional Water Board, duly constituted under the Wellington Regional Water Board Act 1972, proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and of all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute public works, namely, water supply, afforestation, and passive recreation, and for the general purposes of those public works the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands which are required to be taken are deposited at the offices of the Wellington Regional Water Board, Second Floor, Dominion Life Building, corner High Street and Margaret Street, Lower Hutt, under the numbers set out against the respective pieces of land described in the said Schedule and are there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. And that any person affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands or any of them should, if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands or any of them (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation), send his written objection within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12–244, Wellington North. And notice is hereby further given that if any objection is made as aforesaid a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and that each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing and at that hearing each objector will be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.
