Court by THE ISAAC SHINGLE AND SAND COMPANY LIMITED
a duly incorporated company having its registered office at
Christchurch and carrying on business as shingle and sand
suppliers. And that the said petition is directed to be heard
before the Court sitting at Christchurch on the 2nd day
of November 1973, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any
creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to
support or oppose the making of an order on the said

PUKEKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is
hereby given that the Pukekohe Borough Council proposes,
under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute
a certain public work, namely, the construction of sewage
oxidation ponds and associated works and for the purpose
of such public work the fee simple estate in the land
described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken,
and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land
in respect of which the interest above described is so required
to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Pukekohe
Borough Council, Municipal Chambers, King Street, Puke-
kohe, and is open for public inspection without fee by all
persons during ordinary office hours.
Every person affected who wishes to make any objection
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking
of the said interest in the said land (not being an objection
to the amount or payment of compensation) must state his
objection in writing and send the same within 40 days from
the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk,
Pukekohe Borough Council, Municipal Chambers, King
Street, Pukekohe.
If any objection is made a public hearing of the objection
will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of the hear-
ing.
SCHEDULE
ALL the fee simple estate in that piece of land containing
39.2545 hectares shown outlined in green on a plan lodged
in the public office of the Pukekohe Borough Council,
Municipal Chambers, King Street, Pukekohe, and numbered
S. 1376, being part lot 4, Deposited Plan 21399, and being
part of the land comprised in certificate of title No. 26B/919,
North Auckland Land Registry, being situated adjacent to
the Pukekohe Borough Council sewer pond at Tuakau, being
at the end of Friedlanders Road, Tuakau.

SOUTHLAND COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE is hereby given that the Southland County Council
proposes, in pursuance of the Public Works Act 1928, to
take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road
as improvements to the Pig and Whistle Corner on the
Wyndham-Mokoreta Road.
A plan of the land proposed to be taken is deposited
in the office of the Southland County Council, Clyde Street,
Invercargill, and is open for public inspection without fee
during ordinary office hours.
All persons having any objection to the proposed taking
of land must state their objection in writing and send the
same to the Southland County Council, P.O. Box 903,
Invercargill, within 40 days of the 25th day of October
1973, being the date of the first publication of this notice.
If any such objection shall be made a public hearing
will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and
each objector will be advised of the time and place of
the hearing.
