Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of County of Hawke's Bay and Borough of Havelock North

It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County of Hawke's Bay and included in the Borough of Havelock North. All persons affected who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to, or petitions against, the proposed alteration with the Minister of Local Government, Wellington, within 1 month from the date of publication of this notice.

SCHEDULE

FIRSTLY, that piece of land situate in the land registration district of Hawke's Bay containing 19 acres 3 roods 6 perches, more or less, situate in Block IV, Te Mata Survey District, being part of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 1011, which said parcel of land is part Suburban Sections 1 and 2, Havelock, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume B1, folio 462 (Hawke's Bay Registry), subject to stormwater and pipeline rights in Transfer 181641, and secondly, that part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume B1, folio 463 (Hawke's Bay Registry), which is situated in the Hawke's Bay County Council, being more particularly part of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 2664, which said Lot has a total area of 39 perches, the said areas being bounded by Middle and Breadalbane Roads and the present boundary of the Borough of Havelock North.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
