AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE CONFIRMING INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Auckland City Council hereby confirms its intention, subject to the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, of executing a certain public work, namely, resubdivision and improvement in a reclamation area proclaimed under part II, Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, and for the purposes of such work to take the fee simple estate in the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

The Council notified its intention to take the said land by public notice in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 92, p. 1487, dated 9 November 1972. This notice of confirmation is given pursuant to the provisions of section 22 subsection (5) Public Works Act 1928.

SCHEDULE

FIRSTLY, all that piece of land containing 7.5 perches, more or less, being part of Allotments 4 and 5, section 48, City of Auckland, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 115, folio 177, North Auckland Land Registry, being situated at and known as 1 Pratt Street, Auckland.

Secondly, all that piece of land containing 16.5 perches, more or less, situated in the City of Auckland, being Lot 73 of a subdivision of Allotment 11 of Section 48 of the City of Auckland, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 567, folio 213, North Auckland Land Registry, situated at 53 Collingwood Street, Auckland, limited as to parcels.

Thirdly, all that piece of land containing 15.8 perches, more or less, situated in the City of Auckland, being part of Allotment 6 of Section 48 of the City of Auckland, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 597, folio 89, North Auckland Land Registry, limited as to parcels, situated at 2 Pratt Street, Auckland.

Fourthly, all that piece of land containing 14.5 perches, more or less, being Lot 10 and part 11 of resubdivision of Lots 13, 14, and 15 of subdivision of Allotments 2, 3, and others of section 48 of the City of Auckland in the Provincial District of Auckland, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 58, folio 94, North Auckland Land Registry, situated at 3 Pratt Street, Auckland.

Fifthly, all that piece of land containing 13.2 perches, more or less, situated in the City of Auckland, being part of Allotment 3 of Section 48 of the City of Auckland, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 597, folio 197, North Auckland Land Registry, limited as to parcels, and situated at 56 Hepburn Street, Auckland.

Sixthly, all that piece of land containing 37 perches, more or less, being part Allotments 15, 16, and 17, Section 46, Town of Auckland, and being all the land comprised in certificates of title No. 4D/1256 and 4D/1257, North Auckland Land Registry, limited as to parcels, and situated at 28–32 Hayden Street, Auckland.

BOROUGH OF GLEN EDEN

RESOLUTION IMPOSING TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

NOTICE is hereby given that the Glen Eden Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

(1) “That ‘no U-turn’ be imposed on West Coast Road between Captain Scott Road and Glendale Road and that the appropriate signs be erected in accordance with the requirements of the traffic regulations.”

(2) “That ‘no right turn’ be imposed both ‘out of’ and ‘into’ Captain Scott Road at its junction with West Coast Road and the appropriate signs be erected in accordance with the requirements of the traffic regulations.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Glen Eden Borough Council on 9 October 1973.

WHAKATANE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whakatane County Council intends, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the purpose of such work intends to take the land described in the Schedule hereto. And notice is further given that a plan showing the land proposed to be so taken is deposited at the office of the Council situated at The Strand, Whakatane, and may there be inspected without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the proposed work or by the taking of the said land and who have an objection to the same, not being an objection as to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objection in writing and send the same to the County Clerk, Whakatane County Council, P.O. Box 244, Whakatane, so as to reach him within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. If any objection is received a public hearing of the same will be held and each objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE PURPOSE OF LAND OWNED BY COUNCIL

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, that the Wanganui City Council intends to change the purpose for which it holds the area of land described in the Schedule hereto from its present designation of “Municipal Purposes” to the proposed designation of “Street”; and notice is hereby further given that any person objecting to the proposed change of purpose is hereby required to lodge his objection in writing at the office of the Wanganui City Council, Guyton Street, Wanganui, within 40 days from and inclusive of the first publication of this notice.

ALL that piece of land situated in the Land Registration District of Wellington and the City of Wanganui containing 1482 square metres, being part Reserve “H”, Town of Wanganui, and being part of certificate of title, Volume 480, folio 223, Wellington Registry; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington under S.O.
