Vesting Reclaimed Land in the City of Manukau

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 8th day of October 1973
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175B (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests in the Manukau City Council the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land was authorised for reclamation by an Order in Council of 26 February 1968*, such land to be vested as a recreation reserve pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953.

SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of reclaimed Crown foreshore at Wakaaranga Creek, situated in Block III, Otahuhu Survey District, containing 1 acre 0 roods 7 perches as shown edged red on the plan S.O. 47587.
The District Land Registrar is hereby authorised to make such entries in his register as are necessary to give effect to this order.

Authorising the Auckland Harbour Board to Reclaim Endowment Land at Whau River

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175 (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland Harbour Board to reclaim from the Whau River an area of 2 acres 2 roods 15 perches, more or less, of endowment land as shown edged red on plan M.D. 14995, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Declaration that State Forest Land Ceases to be Part of North-west Nelson State Forest Park

At the Government House at Wellington this 8th day of October 1973

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 63A (2) of the Forests Act 1949, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the area of permanent State forest land described in the Schedule hereto, having been set apart as part of a State forest park by a Proclamation dated the 2nd day of September 1970 and published in Gazette, 10 September 1970, Vol. III, p. 1596, hereby ceases to be part of a State forest park as from the date of publication hereof.

ALL that piece of land containing 167 acres 3 roods 16 perches, more or less, being Sections 23 and 24 situated in Block VI, Aorere Survey District, being part of an area of 1,240 acres referred to in the Second Schedule of the above-mentioned Proclamation.
As shown on plan S. 8 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.

Amendment to Rules of the Wellington Stock Exchange
PURSUANT to section 11 of the Sharebrokers Act 1908, the Governor-General in Council on 1 October 1973 approved the following amendments to the rules of the Wellington Stock Exchange.

WELLINGTON STOCK EXCHANGE—AMENDMENT OF RULES

That rule 39 be amended by adding the following words: “including by way of explanation, but not by way of limitation, the power to enter into underwriting and sub-underwriting commitments in respect of any form of investment by any incorporated body or company which is officially listed or for which application has been made for official listing to the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand”.

That rule 60 be repealed and replaced by the following rule: “On application for transfer of membership, the whole amount of the purchase price shall be lodged with the Exchange. The committee may require from all or any of the parties concerned such evidence as they may deem necessary as to the price paid for the seat. Upon election 10 percent of the nominal value, for the time being of the seat, or 10 percent of the purchase price, whichever is the lesser, shall be retained by the Exchange and the balance of the purchase money shall be paid to the transferor. In the event of his rejection the amount of the purchase price paid shall be returned to the proposed transferee”.

That rule 77 be amended by deleting the second paragraph thereof and substituting the following: “A member or firm of members which has obtained permission to have an authorised clerk or clerks shall pay an additional annual subscription calculated in respect of each authorised clerk equal to one-quarter of the subscription payable by a metropolitan member or such sum as may from time to time be determined by members in general meeting and shall be paid in the same manner and proportion as the annual subscription”.

That rule 91 be amended by deleting the words and figures “Association rule 77”, and substituting therefore the words “Association rules”.
