Declaring Land Taken, Subject to Certain Rights, for Buildings
of the General Government in the City of Auckland

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the fencing
agreements contained in memoranda of transfer No. 228817
and 620578, and subject to the building-line restriction contained
in K. 84885, North Auckland Land Registry, for buildings of
the General Government from and after the 8th day of
October 1973.

ALL that piece of land containing 27.5 perches situated in the
City of Auckland, North Auckland R.D., and being Lot 19,

Declaring Land and an Easement in Gross Over Land Taken
for Water Supply Purposes in Block X, Kaitawa Survey
District, Horowhenua County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, sufficient agreements
to that effect having been entered into, the land described
in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for water supply
purposes and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua from and after
the 8th day of October 1973, and also hereby declares
that an easement in gross is hereby taken for water
supply purposes over the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto, vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants, of the County of Horowhenua from and after
the 8th day of October 1973, the following full and free
rights, liberties, licences, and privileges in perpetuity, that
is to say:

(a) The right to carry, conduct, and convey water back-
wards and forwards, under and along the lands
described in the Second Schedule hereto.
(b) The right to enter upon any or all of the said lands
to lay, construct, prepare, renew, and maintain all
necessary pipes together with all ancillary fittings
of such internal diameter and of such material and
at a depth with a minimum cover of 18 in. as shall
be necessary for any of the purposes hereunder.
(c) The right to enter upon all or any of the said lands,
from time to time and at all reasonable times, by
its servants, agents, and workmen, with all necessary
tools, implements, plant machinery, and vehicles for
the purpose of laying, constructing, repairing, renew-
ing, and maintaining all such necessary pipes and
any of the ancillary fittings.
(d) The right to dig and break up the surface of the said
lands or any parts thereof, and generally to do and
perform all acts and things as may be necessary
or proper for any of the purposes hereinbefore
mentioned.
