COOK COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
As published in the Gisborne Herald on 5 and 12 September 1973

Notice is hereby given that the Cook County Council, acting
under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the
Counties Act 1956, proposes to take the land described in
the Schedule hereto for the purpose of a public road. The
said land is a road constructed some years ago to provide
access from Ngakaroa Road to a property known as
Papakorokoro Station situated in Block II, Waimata Survey
District.

Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the said
Council, 389 Gladstone Road, Gisborne, and is there open
for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary
office hours.

All persons affected by the taking of such land must set
forth in writing any objection they may wish to make to the
taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount
or payment of compensation, and send the same within 40
days from the first publication of this notice to the County
Clerk, Cook County Council, 389 Gladstone Road, Gisborne.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a
public hearing of the objection will be held unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei County Council
intends, pursuant to the Counties Act 1956, to execute a
certain work, namely, a road, and for the purpose of such
work the parcels of land described in the schedule hereto
are required to be taken pursuant to the Public Works Act
1928, and notice is further given that a plan showing the
said parcels of land is deposited at the office of the said
Council, situated at Springs Flat, Kamo, and may there be
inspected without fee by all persons during ordinary office
hours.

All persons affected by the proposed work or by the taking
of the said land and who have an objection thereto must
state their objection in writing and send the same to the
