Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed, and Land Taken and Vested in Blocks VI and X, Nukumaru Survey District, Waitotara County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitotara; also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and also hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29, and declares that the road first described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Herbert McKnight, of Waitotara, farmer, subject to mortgage No. 870058, that the road secondly and thirdly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, and the land first described in the said Third Schedule shall, when so taken, vest in John Neville Hare, of Nukumaru, farmer, subject to mortgage No. 335256, that the road fourthly and fifthly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, and the land secondly described in the said Third Schedule shall, when so taken, vest in John Neville Hare, of Nukumaru, farmer, subject to mortgage No. 251112, that the road sixthly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Blaikie Hatmui Farm Limited, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 837915, 837916, and 884608, and that the road seventhly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, and the land thirdly described in the said Third Schedule shall, when so taken, vest in Leonard Anthony Mullins, of Maxwell, farmer, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 663951 and 963240, Wellington Land Registry.
