Officiating Ministers for 1973β€”Notice No. 35

It is hereby notified that the following correction has been made:

The Reverend Theodore Friend Sercombe, M.A., DIP.T.H., is on the List of Officiating Ministers as Seventh Day Adventist Church. He is an officiating minister of the Anglican Church.

Land Taken for Electricity Works in the Borough of Taupo

DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for electricity works and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Taupo as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of August 1973.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1.2 perches situated in Block II, Tauhara Survey District, being part Waipahihi C. 74 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 27226 (S.O. 46527) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of August 1973.

Land Held for the Purposes of a Pleasure Ground in the City of Wellington Set Apart for Street

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was taken for the purposes of a pleasure ground and vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington by a Proclamation dated the 12th day of February 1923 and published in Gazette, 15 February 1923, Vol. I, at page 508.

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the said land is hereby set apart as from the 20th day of August 1973 for street.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington, and described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 27231 (S.O. 28427) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waipa as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of August 1973.
