Price Order No. 2240 (Wholesale Prices of Sheep Meat)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following price order.

  1. This order may be cited as Price Order No. 2240 and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 2230 (Wholesale Prices of Sheep Meat).

  2. This order shall come into force on the 6th day of August 1973.

  3. The maximum price that may be charged by any wholesaler for any sheep meat sold by him, including liver but excluding kidneys, shall be the price lawfully charged by him in accordance with Price Order No. 2230 (Wholesale Prices of Sheep Meat), increased by the addition of 3c per pound except that hogget prices are increased by the addition of 2c per pound in the pricing areas of Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Wanganui, Manawatu, Wairarapa, and Wellington, as defined in Price Orders 2219, 2220, 2221, 2222, 2223, and 2224.

Price Order No. 2241 (Retail Prices of Sheep Meat)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following price order.

  1. This order may be cited as Price Order No. 2241 and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Orders No. 2215, 2216, 2217, 2218 (as amended by Price Order No. 2236), 2219, 2220, 2221, 2222, 2223, 2224, 2225, 2226, 2227, 2228, and 2229, as amended by Price Order No. 2231.

  2. This order shall come into force on the 6th day of August 1973.

  3. The maximum retail prices of first grade lamb, hogget, and first grade mutton meats, including liver but excluding kidneys, listed in the Schedules to the principal orders are hereby increased by the addition of 3c per pound with the exception that hogget prices in the Schedules to Price Orders 2219, 2220, 2221, 2222, 2223, and 2224 covering the pricing areas of Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Wanganui, Manawatu, Wairarapa, and Wellington are hereby increased by the addition of 2c per pound.

  4. The maximum retail prices which a retailer could lawfully charge as at 9 April 1973 for sheep meats (other than first grade lamb, hogget, and first grade mutton), including liver but excluding kidneys, from such sheep meats, are hereby increased by the addition of 3c per pound.
