NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act
1928, to execute a certain work, namely, the provision of
water supply works at Motutara Road, Muriwai, and for
the purposes of this public work the lands described in
the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. A plan of
the lands so required is deposited in the Council Offices
at 68-70 Greys Avenue, Auckland, and at the District Office,
Huapai, where it is open for inspection during ordinary
office hours. All persons affected by the proposal who wish
to make any objection to the execution of the said public
work or to the taking of the land, not being an objection
to the amount or payment of compensation, shall set forth
such objection in writing and send the written objection
so as to reach the County Clerk, Waitemata County Council,
Greys Avenue, Auckland 1, on or before Friday, 7 September
1973. A public hearing of any such objection will be held,
unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will
be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR WATERWORKS
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and
the Public Works Act 1928:
Notice is hereby given that the Mount Maunganui Borough
Council proposes to take for waterworks (namely, for water
supply, catchment, and conservation purposes) under the
provisions of the above-mentioned Acts the land described
in the Schedule hereto.
A plan of the land required to be taken is deposited and
is open for inspection at the public office of the Tauranga
County Council, Barkes Corner, Tauranga, and at the public
office of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council, Maunganui
Road, Mount Maunganui.
Every person affected and wishing to make any objection

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY
Special Order
THE Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers
vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963,
section 43, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon
it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in
exercise of all powers enabling it on that behalf, doth hereby
resolve, by special resolution intended to operate as a special
order, to borrow the sum of $137,700 as a special loan,
to be known as Drainage Loan No. 76, 1973-$137,700,
for the purposes of and incidental to the acquisition of
land adjoining the Mangere Treatment Plant in terms of
the Local Government Commissioner's recommendation of
20 January 1965.
The Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers
vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963,
section 24, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon
it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in
exercise of all other powers enabling it on that behalf,
doth hereby resolve, by special Resolution intended to operate
as a special order, to borrow the sum of $685,000 as a special
loan, to be known as Workshops Development Loan No. 1,
1973-$685,000 for the purposes of and incidental to the
alterations and additions to the central workshops at Manukau
Road.
The foregoing special orders were passed at a meeting
of the Auckland Regional Authority held on 18 June 1973
and confirmed at a meeting of the said Authority held on
16 July 1973, having meantime been advertised in the
Auckland Star on 23 June and 4 July 1973.

intends, under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956 to
execute a certain work, namely, a road, and for the purpose
of such work the parcels of land described in the
Schedule hereto are required to be taken pursuant to the
Public Works Act 1928.
And notice is further given that a plan showing the said
parcels of land is deposited at the office of the said Council
situated at Baxter Street, Warkworth, and may there be
inspected by all persons without fee during ordinary office
hours.
Any person affected should set forth in writing any objection
he may wish to make to the execution of the said work or
to the taking of such lands, not being an objection to the
amount or payment of compensation, and send the same to
the County Clerk, Rodney County Council, P.O. Box 3,
Warkworth, so as to reach him not later than 10 September
