Notice of Intention to Take Land in the City of Nelson for State Housing Purposes
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of State housing, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the post office at The Wood and are there open for inspection;
that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 49 acres 2 roods .14.6 perches situated in Block IX, Wakapuaka Survey District, being part Section 18, District of Suburban North. All certificate of title, Volume 99, folio 202, Nelson Land Registry (limited as to parcels); as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 27239 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 12 acres and 3 roods situated in the City of Nelson, being part of Section .10 of the District of Suburban North. Part certificate of title, Volume 60, folio 198, Nelson Land Registry (limited as to parcels); as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 27238 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged green.
The land described in the First Schedule is situated on the south-western side of Dodson's Valley Road at the end of the formed carriageway of the said road and extending for a distance of about 400 metres along the unformed portion of the said road.
The land described in the Second Schedule is situated on the south-western side of Dodson's Valley Road about 250 metres before the end of the formed carriageway of the said road and has a frontage of about 90 metres to the said road.
