Notice of Intention to Take Additional Land in Block XIV,
Ikitara Survey District, Rangitikei County, for a State
Primary School. Namely, the Ratana Maori School

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for a State primary school, namely, the Ratana Maori School; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Wanganui and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood and 39.9 perches (2020 square metres) situated in Block XIV, Ikitara Survey District, being part Ratana Settlement Residue area; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 27177 (S.O. 28684) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange. This land adjoins the present playing-field area on the north.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IX, Maramarua Survey District, Waikato County, for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of the Lower Waikato-Waipa River Control Scheme, section B, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Rangiriri and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector requires otherwise, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
