All persons having an objection to the proposed work
or to the taking of the said land and who have an objection
thereto (not being an objection as to the amount or payment of compensation) must state their objections in writing
and send the same to the County Clerk, Whangarei County Council, P.O. Box 4102, Kamo, so as to reach him not later than 21 August 1973, being 40 days after the first publication of this notice. If any objection is received, a public hearing of the same will be held and each objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.

OTAGO CATCHMENT BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Otago Catchment Board proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, to execute a certain public work, namely, soil conservation and river control under the Lower Clutha River Flood Control Scheme, and for the purpose of or in connection with that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the South Division Office of the Otago Catchment Board, Hasborough Place, Balclutha, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, and are hereby required to set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Secretary, Otago Catchment Board, 70 Stafford Street, Dunedin. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of hearing.

WELLINGTON REGIONAL WATER BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Wellington Regional Water Board Act 1972, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928: Notice is hereby given that the Wellington Regional Water Board duly constituted under the Wellington Regional Water Board Act 1972 proposes, under the provisions of the above-
named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a public work, namely, a water collection area in the Whakatiki Catchment, and for the purposes of that public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands which are required to be taken are deposited at the offices of the Wellington Regional Water Board, Second Floor, Dominion Life Building, corner High Street and Margaret Street, Lower Hutt, under the numbers set out against the respective pieces of land described in the said Schedule and are there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that any person affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said lands or any of them should, if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands or any of them (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation), send his written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington Regional Water Board addressed to the Secretary of the Board at his said office. And notice is hereby further given that if any objection is made as aforesaid a public hearing of that objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of that hearing and at that hearing each objector will be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.
