Import Control Exemption Notice No. 3, 1973

PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations
1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control
   Exemption Notice No. 3, 1973.
   (b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the
   date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Goods of the class specified in the Schedule hereto, im-
   ported from and being the produce or manufacture of any
   country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a
   licence under the said regulations.

Goods exported from New Zealand for such purposes as may
from time to time be approved by the Minister, either generally
or in any particular case, and not admissible under section 164
of the Customs Act 1966.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimairi County)
   Notice No. 1, 1973.
2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby
   declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes
   of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is
   hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes
   of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimairi County adjacent to Christchurch
City:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) the section known
as Cranford Street (from a point 52 chains measured north-
westerly generally along the said State highway from
McFaddens Road to the eastern boundary of Christchurch
City).

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) the section known
as Main North Road (from the northern boundary of Christ-
church City to the Styx River).

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) the section known as
Blenheim Road (from a point 2 chains measured westerly
generally along the said State highway from Matipo Street
to the eastern boundary of Waimairi County).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimairi County at Belfast:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from Englefield Road
to the Styx River just north of Styx Mill Road).
