FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, public notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of section 22 of the Public Works 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of flood protection works, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto is required to be taken for stream diversion and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is required to be taken for severence; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited at the office of the Franklin County Council, Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and there open for inspection; all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount of payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the office of the Council, and if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time of the hearing.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments:
Notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, for street purposes at the corner of Kingston Heights Road and Quebec Street in the City of Wellington, and for the purpose of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land which is required to be taken is deposited in the Public Office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Office Building, Mercer Street, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that any person affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to amount or payment of compensation, send his written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at his said office. And notice is hereby further given that if any objection is made as aforesaid, a public hearing of that objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of that hearing and at that hearing each objector will be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.

ALL that parcel of land containing 20.39 perches, more or less, situate in the City of Wellington, being part of Section 18 of the Ohioro District, and being Lot 55 on Deposited
Plan 10105, and being also part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 459, Folio 290 (Wellington Registry).

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council intends, under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956, to execute a certain work, namely, a road, and for the purpose of such work intends, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto. And notice is further given that a plan showing the said parcels of land is deposited at the office of the said Council situated at Main Road, Kawakawa, and may there be inspected without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
Any persons having an objection to the carrying out of the said work or to the taking of the said land (not being an objection as to the amount or payment of compensation) must state their objections in writing and send the same to the County Clerk, Bay of Islands County Council, P.O. Box 11, Kawakawa, so as to reach him not later than 9 July 1973, being 40 days after the first publication of this notice. If any objection is received a public hearing of the same will be held, unless the objector requires otherwise, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.
