Acquisition of Land as Part of the Te Toto Gorge Scenic Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired as a reserve for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of Part IV of the said Act, as an addition to the Te Toto Gorge Scenic Reserve.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Southland County) Notice No. 1, 1973.

The Southland County Council’s proposed classification of the road as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

The notice dated the 28th day of September 1965† which relates to the classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

The Amuri County Council’s proposed classification of the road as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

So much of the notice dated the 3rd day of October 1950* as relates to the classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953—Proposed Release Of Deposits
New Zealand Victoria Life Ltd. has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to carry on business in New Zealand in respect of the class of insurance business designated as class 4 in the First Schedule to the above-mentioned Act, and that it proposes to withdraw the deposit which has been made by it with the Public Trustee, pursuant to section 19 of the above-mentioned Act.
The Public Trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 19 (3) of the above-mentioned Act that, subject to his being satisfied that all liabilities of the said company in New Zealand in respect of insurance business referred to herein have been fully liquidated or provided for, he proposes to release to the company, on or after the 28th day of June 1973, the amount deposited with him by the said company.
Any objection to the release of the amount deposited should be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trust Office, Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before the 14th day of June 1973.

Notice of Application for Approval of a Scheme Under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957
NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee, as trustee of the will of William Georgetti, deceased, has filed in the office of the Supreme Court at Wellington an application for approval of a scheme varying the membership of the William Georgetti Scholarship Board, constituted under a scheme approved by the Supreme Court on the 24th day of June 1969 under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to enable the Chief Justice of New Zealand to nominate as a member of the said Board on his behalf either such other Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand or such retired Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand as the said the Chief Justice may from time to time decide.
Copies of the scheme and the report of the Attorney-General thereon may be inspected, free of charge, at the office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, Wellington, and at the Public Trust Office at Hastings and Wellington. The date proposed for the hearing of the application is the 11th day of July 1973.
Any person desiring to oppose the scheme is hereby required to give written notice of his intention to the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington and to the Public Trustee, Wellington, and to the Attorney-General not less than 7 clear days before that date.
