WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Counties
Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council proposes to execute
a certain public work, namely the reconstruction of Whanga-
paraoa Road between Marellen Drive and Poplar Road; and
for the purposes of such work the lands in the Schedule hereto
are required to be taken. A plan of the lands so required is
deposited in the Council Offices at 68–70 Greys Avenue,
Auckland, and at the District Office, Silverdale, where it is
open for inspection during ordinary office hours. All persons
affected by the proposal who wish to make any objection to
the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the
land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation, shall set forth such objection in writing and
send the written objection so as to reach the County Clerk,
Waitemata County Council, Greys Avenue, Auckland 1,
within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A
public hearing of any such objection will be held, unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situated in the County of Waitemata
containing 33.1 perches, more or less, and described as Lot 13,
D.P. 39595, and being all the land comprised and described
in certificate of title, Volume 1077, folio 161, such land being
situated in Whangaparaoa Road, Whangaparaoa, and owned
by Lawrence Raymond Mitchell.

of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public
work, namely, the construction of an extension to Ngatira
Road, Lichfield, Putaruru, and for the purposes of that
public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is
required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given
that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited
in the office of the Matamata County Council at Tirau and is
there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the

said land should, if they have any objections to the execution
of the said public work or to the taking of the said land,
