Licensing Grant Alexander Magorian to Occupy a Site for a Jetty at the Taieri River


PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, of the Ministry of Transport, acting under a delegation authorised by the Minister of Transport pursuant to section 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby license and permit Grant Alexander Magorian (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy part of the foreshore and bed of the Taieri River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 14973 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of May 1973.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Licensing the Thames Angling Club (Incorporated) to Occupy a Site for a Ramp at Kereta, Thames Coast


PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, of the Ministry of Transport, acting under a delegation authorised by the Minister of Transport pursuant to section 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby license and permit the Thames Angling Club (Incorporated) (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Kereta, Thames Coast, as shown on plan marked M.D. 14422 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

Licensing the Grey County Council to Occupy a Site for a Launch Skidway at Lake Brunner


PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, of the Ministry of Transport, acting under a delegation authorised by the Minister of Transport pursuant to section 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby license and permit the Grey County Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of Lake Brunner at Moana, as shown on plan marked M.D. 8285 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a launch skidway as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 20th day of September 1972.

(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten cents (10c) payable on demand.

Amending Rules of Royal Society of New Zealand


PURSUANT to the Royal Society of New Zealand Act 1965, the fellows of the Royal Society of New Zealand, at the annual general meeting held on 12 May 1973, passed a resolution amending the rules of the Society published in the Gazette on 22 December 1965, 29 June 1967, and 13 June 1968, the effect of such resolution being

SECTION B—THE ELECTION OF COUNCIL AND OFFICERS

Rule B. 10 was amended to read:

Not later than March 31 the Council shall appoint two scrutineers from among the fellowship and shall cause to be posted to every fellow a voting paper listing alphabetically all valid nominations received for the officers and fellows’ councillors for the coming year, and showing the scientific experience, vocation, and previous service on the Council of each nominee. The voting paper shall instruct the voter to delete the names of nominees for whom he does not wish to vote, leaving the name of not more than one candidate for each office and of up to eight candidates for fellows’ councillors.
