BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
Notice is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council intends, under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956, to execute a certain work, namely, a road, and for the purpose of such work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928. And notice is further given that plans showing the land proposed to be so taken is deposited at the office of the said Council situated at Main Road, Kawakawa, and may there be inspected without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons who have an objection to the said work or to the taking of the said land (not being an objection as to the amount or payment of compensation) must state their objections in writing and send the same to the County Clerk, Bay of Island County Council, P.O. Box 11, Kawakawa, so as to reach him not later than 3 July 1973, being 40 days after the first publication of this notice. If any objection is received a public hearing of the same will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.

COUNTY OF TAupo
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan 1972—$60,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo County Council, at a meeting held on 27 March 1973, passed the following resolution:
That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $60,000 authorised to be raised by the Local Authorities Loan Act 1956 for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Taupo County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0181c in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Taupo, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said special loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until the said special loan is fully paid off.
