The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 2, 1973
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 2, 1973.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 2, 1972*, dated the 12th day of October 1972, and the Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 2 1968, dated the 4th day of June 1968†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which both relate to roads in Paparua County, are hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Paparua County at Templeton:
Bailey Street.
Banks Street.
Bricknor Street.
Church Road (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 14 chains measured northerly generally along the said road from Banks Street).

Waterloo Road (from Church Street to a point 3 chains measured easterly generally along the said road from Bricknor Street).
SECOND SCHEDULE

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 19 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Marshs Road to a point 15 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said highway from Trents Road).
Marshs Road (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 24 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said road from the said highway).

International Driving Permits
PURSUANT to subclause (2) of regulation 7 of the Transport (Convention on Road Traffic) Regulations 1958, the Minister of Transport hereby specifies that the fee for an international driving permit shall be $1.50.

The Wairere Electric Power Board, Water Power, and Electric Lines Licence 1966, Amendment No. 2
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the Wairere Electric Power Board, Water Power, and Electric Lines Licence 1966*, as amended by the Wairere Electric Power Board, Water Power, and Electric Lines Licence 1966, Amendment No. 1 (Gazette, 25 May 1967, p. 920) by adding to the First Schedule thereto the following:
“(5) Commencing from the line authorised in paragraph (4) hereof, and proceeding in a generally easterly direction for a distance of 14.85 chains in Pt. 3D3E, Block IX, Otanake Survey District; the said line being more particularly shown on plan marked N.Z.E.D. 874 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.”

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
