Price Order No. 2233 (Amendment No. 2 of Price Order No. 2189) (Spirits and Beer)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following price order:

  1. This order may be cited as Price Order No. 2233 and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 2189* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  2. This order shall come into force on the 12th day of May 1973.

  3. In this order, unless the context otherwise requires—
    “Auckland Metropolitan Area” means the district comprising the counties of Franklin and Waitemata including all cities, boroughs, and town districts situated within or contiguous to the boundaries of any such county.

  4. The principal order is hereby amended by revoking clause 6 (1) (n) of the principal order and substituting the following clause:

(n) For beer sold in bottles containing 1 quart:

Auckland Metropolitan Area: the authorised price per bottle ruling at the particular premises on 11 May 1973, increased by 1 cent per bottle.

Elsewhere in New Zealand: the authorised price per bottle ruling at the particular premises on 21 December 1971, increased by 2 cents per bottle.

Dated at Wellington this 10th day of May 1973.
