Reappointment of Member to the Prisons Parole Board

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Criminal Justice Act 1954, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Stipendiary Magistrate, of Dunedin, to be a member of the Prisons Parole Board for a further term on and from 10 August 1973.

Shipping and Seamen Act 1952—Cancellation of Appointment of Members of the Marine Council—Appointment of Members of the Marine Council

PURSUANT to section 15A of the Shipping and Seamen Act 1952 (as substituted by section 2 of the Shipping and Seamen Amendment Act 1971), I, the Honourable Sir Basil Malcom Arthur, Baronet, Minister of Transport, hereby—
(1) Cancel the appointment of the following persons as members and deputies of the members of the Marine Council:
John Ferdinand Holm (representing owners of New Zealand ships);
Christopher Martin Delaney (representing the Federated Cooks’ and Stewards’ Union of New Zealand Industrial Union of Workers);
Raymond James Ross (as deputy for John Ferdinand Holm); and
John Cecil Eade (as deputy for Christopher Martin Delaney).
(2) Appoint the following persons as members and deputies of the members of the Marine Council:
Raymond James Ross (representing owners of New Zealand ships);
Frank Arthur Ramsay (representing the Federated Cooks’ and Stewards’ Union of New Zealand Industrial Union of Workers);
Ross Wagstaff (as deputy for Raymond James Ross); and
