Declaring Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, being satisfied that the two pieces of land described in the two Schedules hereto have been vested in the Crown, hereby declare the said two pieces of land to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land situated in Blocks XII and XVI, Rotoiti Survey District, and Block IV, Tarawera Survey District, and described as follows:
Hectares Being
1085.2253 Part Rotoiti 14 Block as shown on M.L. Plans 20421, 20422, 20423, and 20424.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land situated in Blocks XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Rotoiti Survey District, and Block II, Tarawera Survey District, and described as follows:
Hectares Being
2100.8749 Okataina 12 Block as shown on M.L. Plans 20629 and 20630.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of April 1973.

PURSUANT to section 175 (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Busck Family Trust to reclaim from the bed of the Te Wai-iti Stream an area of 2 roods and 20 perches of land, more or less, as shown on plan M.D. 1482 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Stratford County Council Appointed to Manage Midhurst Cemetery

PURSUANT to section 23 of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint the Stratford County Council to have the control and management of the Midhurst Cemetery, being the land described in the Schedule hereto, as from the 31st day of March 1973.
SCHEDULE
MIDHURST CEMETERY
ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres, more or less, being Section 3, Block XIII, Huiroa Survey District.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 11th day of April 1973.

Whakatane County Council Appointed to Manage Taneatua Cemetery
DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General
PURSUANT to section 23 of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint the Whakatane County Council to have the control and management of the Taneatua Cemetery, being the land described in the Schedule hereto, as from the 31st day of March 1973.
