Subsidy on Sheep Meats

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the authority vested
in him by the Minister of Trade and Industry, the Secretary
of the Department of Trade and Industry has fixed rates of
payment for subsidy on sheep meats in cents per pound as
follows:

With respect to claims covering the period commencing 23
April 1973:

(a) (b) (c) (d)
Lamb 3.25 3.5 4.0 2.5
Hoggett 8.00 6.25 6.75 4.75
Wether Mutton 3.50 5.00 4.25 2.25
Ewe Mutton 3.00 2.00 2.5 2.0

N.B.—The amounts specified in columns (a), (b), (c), and
(d) relate to the pricing districts in which the claimant is
operating.

(a) Covers the pricing areas of North Auckland, Auckland,
South Auckland, Gisborne as defined in price orders
2215, 2216, 2217, and 2218;

(b) Covers the pricing areas of Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki,
Wanganui, Manawatu, Wairarapa, Wellington as
defined in price orders 2219, 2220, 2221, 2222, 2223,
and 2224;

(c) Covers the pricing areas of Marlborough and Nelson,
Westland, Canterbury as defined in price orders 2225,
2226, and 2227;

(d) Covers the pricing areas of Otago and Southland as
defined in price orders 2228 and 2229.
