to members in the proportion of their shareholdings in the
company.

Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is

THE following special resolution passed by the company on
the 15th day of February 1973 was confirmed by an order of
the Supreme Court of New Zealand at New Plymouth, on
the 9th day of April 1973:

The capital of the company now consisting of $52,000
divided into 26,000 shares of $2 each with the full amount
thereof paid in full be reduced to $10,000 divided into 5,000
shares of $2 each.

SPECIAL RATE RESOLUTION
Pensioners Flat Loan 1973—$12,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ash-
burton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $12,500 authorised to be raised by the Ashburton
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for erecting
accommodation for old people, the said Ashburton Borough
Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0051c in the dollar
upon the rateable value of all rateable properties of the
Borough of Ashburton, and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable half yearly on the 1st day of August and the 1st day
