A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of April 1973.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 3 roods and 1.2 perches situated in Block I, Whakatane Survey District, being part Allotment 29U4B, Rangitaiki Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 26278 (S.O. 46467) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of April 1973.
