NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Paparua proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the acquisition of a pit for the disposal of refuse and rubbish, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of the Paparua County Council at 149 Main South Road, Sockburn, Christchurch, and is there open for inspection. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth such objection in writing and send the same within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Paparua County Council, 149 Main South Road, Sockburn, Christchurch. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

ALL that piece of land situated at the corner of McTeagues and Carrs Roads being more particularly the land in Block XIV of the Christchurch Survey District containing 16 acres 3 roods 6 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 17408, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 656, folio 97, subject to the easements in transfer 108498 and together with the easement created by transfer 423377.

TE AWAMUTU BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Te Awamutu Borough Council proposes to execute certain public works, to wit, the construction of a public street and drainage works for which purposes the land described in the Schedules hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.

A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Roche Street, Te Awamutu.

Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such works or to the taking of such land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection to the Te Awamutu Borough Council within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
