ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Otamatea County, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of Section 3, Block IV, Waipu Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly generally along the Otamatea County boundary, hereinbefore described, to a point in the middle of the Piroa Stream in Block X, Waipu Survey District, in line with the western boundary of Allotment 323, Kaiwaka Parish; thence southerly along a right line, to and along that boundary and the eastern boundaries of Allotment 217, Wairau Parish, and part Lot 11, D.P. 3184, to the eastern side of State Highway No. 1; thence along a right line across that State highway, to and along the eastern boundary of another part Lot 11, D.P. 3184, to the northern side of Brynderwyn Road; thence along a right line across that road and State Highway No. 1, to the easternmost corner of Allotment 201, Wairau Parish, and southerly along the eastern boundary of that allotment, to the northern side of State Highway No. 1, and the last boundary produced across the said State highway, to and southerly along the western boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 28821, and the last boundary produced across the intervening State Highway No. 12, to and along the eastern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 29926, Lot 2, D.P. 27868, Lot 2, D.P. 37995, and Lot 10, D.P. 2845, and the last boundary produced across Pukearenga Road, to and along the eastern boundary of part Lot 4, D.P. 2845, and that boundary produced to the middle of an arm of the Kaiwaka River, in Block XIII, Waipu Survey District; thence easterly generally down the middle of the said river, and continuing along the boundary of the Otamatea County, hereinbefore described, to and easterly generally up the middle of the Pahi River, to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 6, D.P. 32706, in Block XVI, Matakoe Survey District; thence north-easterly along the boundary of the Mareretu-Paparoa Riding, hereinbefore described, to the point of commencement.

Licensing Taupo County Council to Occupy a Site for a Boat Ramp at Maraetai Bay, Four Mile Bay, Motutere, Acacia Bay, and Booth’s Sub-division, Lake Taupo


PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, the Executive Officer, Harbours and Foreshores Section, Ministry of Transport, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Transport pursuant to section 265A of the aforesaid Act, hereby licenses and permits Taupo County Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy part of the bed of Lake Taupo, as shown on plan marked M.D. 14410 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon five boat ramps as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 1 year from the 1st day of March 1973.

(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Unclaimed Property—Notice of Election by the Public Trustee to Become Manager Under Public Trust Office Act 1957, Part V


WHEREAS James Barnes, whose last known address was of Wanganui, auctioneer, is the owner of the property mentioned in the Schedule hereto; and whereas after due inquiry it is not known where he is or whether he is alive or dead; and whereas the Public Trustee having made due inquiry does not know of any agent or administrator of the said James Barnes in New Zealand with authority to take possession of and administer the said property; and whereas the gross value of the said property (as estimated by the Public Trustee) does not exceed $4,000 and for the purpose of subsection (2) of section 80 of the Public Trust Office Act 1957 the Public Trustee is satisfied that it is advisable in the interests of the owner of the said property or to secure the development or better utilisation of the land that he should become manager thereof:

Now, therefore, the Public Trustee, in exercise of the authority conferred upon him by the said subsection (2) of section 80 of the said Act, hereby elects to be manager of the said property under Part V of the said Act.


SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in the Manganui District containing 2 roods and 2 perches, being the same a little more or less, being Lots 25 and 26 of Block 4, Deposited Plan 20, Midhirst West, part section 35, Manganui District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 6, folio 157, Taranaki Registry.
