PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares
that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from
the date hereof, be added to and form part of Mount Aspiring
National Park and shall hereafter be managed, administered
and dealt with by the Mount Aspiring National Park Board in
accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

FIRST SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—LAKE COUNTY
ALL that area situated in Humboldt Survey District, Lake
County, containing 4,300 acres, more or less, bounded by
a line commencing at Niobe Peak and proceeding generally
westerly, northerly, and again westerly along the ridge divid-
ing the watersheds of the Olivine Branch of the Forgotten
River and the Hidden Falls Creek to an unnamed peak
in the Bryneira Range; thence generally northerly, easterly,
and again northerly along that range, through Welshman,
Courtenay Peak, and Alabaster Pass to an unnamed peak
approximately ¼ mile north of that pass; thence in a south-
easterly direction along a right line between that peak and
Cosmos Peak to the intersection of that line and the forest
edge; thence generally southerly along the forest edge to
its intersection with the Olivine Branch, thence across that
river to the right bank and then generally northerly along
the forest edge to its intersection with the afore-mentioned
right line between the unnamed peak and the Cosmos Peak;
thence generally southerly to and up a gully to its eastern
branch; thence generally easterly up that branch to the
summit of the Humboldt Mountains approximately 1 mile
north-east of Tantalus Peak; thence generally south-westerly
along the ridge between the watersheds of the Dart and
Hollyford Rivers to the point of commencement.

ALL that area situated in Humboldt Survey District, Lake
County, containing 700 acres, more or less, commencing
at the intersection of the left bank of the Olivine Branch
and the forest edge and proceeding generally northerly along
that edge to its intersection with the right line between the
unnamed peak and Cosmos Peak described in the First
Schedule; thence in a south-easterly direction along that
line to its intersection with the forest edge near the right
bank; thence generally southerly along that edge to its inter-
section with the Olivine Branch; thence by a right line
across that river to the point of commencement; being part
of the provisional State forest as described in New Zealand
Gazette, 1967, p. 407.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the
following order.

(a) This order may be cited as the Taupo Pest Destruction
District Order 1973.
(b) This order shall come into force on the day after the
date of its notification in the Gazette. -
The boundaries of the Taupo Pest Destruction District
which was constituted by Order in Council on the 9th day of
March 1970* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the
commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said
district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF TAupo PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, and
Wellington Land Districts, Taumarunui, Taupo, Rotorua,
and Whakatane Counties, and Taupo and Murupara Boroughs,
containing 1,294,900 acres, more or less, bounded by a line
commencing at the confluence of the Waipapa and Waikato
Rivers in Block XVI, Wharepapa Survey District, and pro-
ceeding generally south-easterly up the middle of the
Waikato River to and up the middle of the Paetataramoa
Stream to and along the south-western boundary of part
Lot 3, D.P. S. 7273, to its southernmost point, in Block II,
Otukotara Survey District; thence north-easterly along the
south-eastern boundaries of part Lot 3 and Lot 2, D.P. S. 7273,
Lot 2, D.P. S. 7274, Lot 2, D.P. S. 7085, Lots 5 and 4, D.P. S.
4985, Lots 5, 4, and 3, D.P. 19572, Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 30838,
Sections 6, 5, and 4, Block III, Takapau Survey District, and
Lot 1, D.P. 30839, to the easternmost corner of the last-
named lot; thence south-easterly along the south-western
boundaries of Paeroa East 3A and 3C, as shown on M.L. 4440,
to the eastern boundary of 3C aforesaid; thence northerly
along the eastern boundaries of Paeroa East 3C, 3A, and 4A
(M.L. 4440) to and westerly along the northern boundaries of
4A aforesaid and Sections 8 and 7, Block XV, Paeroa
Survey District, to and northerly along the eastern
boundaries of Section 29, Block XV, aforesaid, and Section
20, Block XI, Paeroa Survey District, the eastern end of
a public road, the eastern boundaries of Section 19, Block
XI, aforesaid, and Sections 29 and 19, Block VII, Paeroa
Survey District, to the northern boundary of that last-named
section; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of
Sections 19, 20, 21, 30, and 23, Block VII, aforesaid, and a
quarry reserve to the eastern side of a public road; thence
generally northerly along that roadside, the south-western
boundary of part Paeroa East 4B1A, the south-eastern and
