Licensing the Manukau City Council to Occupy a Site for a Boat-launching Ramp at Bucklands Beach

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby license and permit the Manukau City Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Bucklands Beach, as shown on plan marked MD10685 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat-launching ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the first day of November 1973.

(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten cents (10c) payable on demand.

Assigning the Licence Authorising National Mortgage and Agency Co. of New Zealand Ltd., Dunedin, Mercantile Branch, to Occupy Parts of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Waikawa as a Site for a Slipway

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby give notice that the licence of 7 December 1965*, amended on 15 March 1966† and further amended on 27 October 1970‡ authorising National Mortgage and Agency Co. of New Zealand Ltd., Dunedin, Mercantile Branch, to use and occupy part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Waikawa as a site for a slipway and cradle is hereby assigned to Walter Allan Stronach, Graham Lawrence Dawson, and Donald Thomas Ross Heads.

Notice Declaring Quarantine Area at Waerenga (No. 636 Ag. 70072)

NOTICE is hereby given that, for the purpose of detention of imported horses under the Animals Act 1967, the land and premises described in the Schedule below are hereby declared to be a quarantine area from 11 December 1973 to 11 February 1973.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 89 acres and 4.6 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, Deposited Plan S. 5748 and part Lot 1 Deposited Plan 27165 and being part of Allotments 65, 69, 70A, 71, and 167, Parish of Whangamarino, and being all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1714, folio 89, South Auckland Land Registry.

PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Otago and Southland Brush and Broom Trade Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 1080, situated at 10 Kenilworth Street, Waverley, Dunedin, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of 6 weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 12 December 1973 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui to Bluff) from its junction with Vinegar Hill Road to the northern boundary of Hunter ville township, as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of plan M.O.W. 35796 and the accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Wanganui, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
