Nothing herein contained shall authorise the Board to remove or cause to be removed any stone, sand, shingle, or shells, without the consent of the Minister being first obtained.

The Board shall not erect or grant a licence or permit for the erection or continuance of any structures on foreshore adjoining land under the control of a National Park Board or Scenic Board or Domain Board except with the consent of such Board.

The Board shall prevent any nuisance being caused and shall not permit fish or fish offal to remain on or about the foreshore.

The rights, powers, and privileges may be at any time resumed by the Governor-General, without payment or any compensation whatever, on giving to the Board 6 calendar months’ notice in writing. Any such notice shall be sufficient if given by the Minister and delivered at or posted to the last known address of the Board in New Zealand.

PURSUANT to the Police Act 1958, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
O R D E R

Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Police Salary Order (No. 3) 1973.
(2) This order shall be deemed to have come into force on the 26th day of October 1972. -
Salary of Commissioner of Police—The salary of the Commissioner of Police shall be as follows:
(a) Commencing with the 26th day of October 1972—
Minimum Maximum Annual Increment
$16,339 $17,125 $786
(b) Commencing with the 11th day of August 1973—
Minimum Maximum Annual Increment
$16,579 $17,365 $786 -
Salary of Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner acting as deputy Commissioner—The salary of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, and, in the absence of any appointment to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, the salary of an Assistant Commissioner of Police acting as the deputy of the Commissioner of Police, shall be as follows:
(a) Yearly rate of salary commencing with the 26th day of October 1972 ..... ..... $13,921
(b) Yearly rate of salary commencing with the 11th day of August 1973 ..... ..... $14,161 -
Revocation—The following orders are hereby revoked:
(a) The Police Salary Order 1973*.

Redefinition of the Existing Boundaries of the Wairarapa Catchment District

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the existing boundaries of the Wairarapa Catchment District are redefined as directed in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District comprising the Boroughs of Masterton, Carterton, Greytown, Featherston, and Martinborough, the Counties of Wairarapa South and Featherston, and parts of the Counties of Masterton, Ekatahuna, and Akitio, containing 6440 square kilometres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast and on the right bank of the Akitio River in Block VII, Waimata Survey District, and proceeding generally north-westerly along that bank to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 10730, to and along that boundary and its production to and along the generally northern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 10730 to the boundary corner adjacent to traverse peg XXXIV, and along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 178, Akitio District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of the said Section 178 to a line running parallel to the southern boundary of Section 182, Akitio District, and passing through the intersection of the south-western boundary of the said Section 182 with the northern side of the road; thence generally westerly along that line, the north-eastern boundary of Section 184, Akitio District, to its northernmost corner, and along a right line to the southernmost corner of Section 226, Akitio District; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of the said Section 226 to its northernmost corner, and due north along a right line to the northern boundary of Section 4, Block III, Owahanga Survey District; thence north-westerly along the northern boundary of the said Section 4 to the boundary corner adjacent to Trig.
