The Road Classification (Manawatu County) Notice No. 1, 1973


PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Manawatu County) Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The Manawatu County Council’s proposed classification of the road as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. So much of the notice dated the 20th day of July 1972† as relates to the classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

KAWA KAWA Road (from its junction with South Street, Feilding, to a point 0.76 miles measured south generally along the said street from the said junction).

The Road Classification (Ekatahuna County) Notice No. 1, 1973


PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Ekatahuna County) Notice No. 1, 1973.

  2. The Ekatahuna County Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. So much of the notice dated the 30th day of April 1951†, which relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby revoked.

Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954—Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union


PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Gisborne Fish Workers’ Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 2156, situated First Floor, H.B. Building 68 Gladstone Street, Gisborne, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of 6 weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road


It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 17 October 1973, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 57 State Highway (Levin-Palmerston North) from the Tiritea Stream to its junction with No. 57A State Highway along its right-hand (southern) side, as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan M.O.W. 35383 and the accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Palmerston North, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Environmental Impact Report Notified—Pencarrow Block, Wainuiomata


THE Commission for the Environment gives notice that it has received an environmental impact report on the Pencarrow Block, Wainuiomata. This is a scheme for the development of 300 residential sections. The public is invited to comment on the environmental aspects of the project as it is explained in the report, and written representations will be received at the office of the Commission, P.O. Box 12-042, Wellington, until Friday, 7 December 1973.

Copies of the environmental impact report may be obtained at the office of the Commission for the Environment, 53 Murphy Street, Wellington.
