Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Land Taken and Vested in Block VI, Ongo Survey District, Rangitikei County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangitikei; also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; also hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29; and declares that the road first described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in the New Zealand Insurance Company Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Auckland, Lloyd George Rowe, of Rata, farmer, and Rusk Joseph Harris, of Marton, solicitor, that the road secondly, thirdly, fourthly, and fifthly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Margaret Jean Bull, of Wanganui, spinster, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 782263, 370432, and 623063; and that the road sixthly and seventhly described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, and the land described in the said Third Schedule, when so taken, shall vest in George Russell Grace, of Wanganui, farmer.
