His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with

makes the following order.

ORDER

1. This order shall be deemed to have come into force on
   the 1st day of November 1973.

2. The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
   excluded from the district of Southland County and included
   in the district of Invercargill City.

3. The alteration of boundaries hereby made shall be
   deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corpora-
   tions Act 1954.

appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations,
and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army:

Colonels' List

Colonel L. W. Wright, M.B.E., to be acting Brigadier with
effect from 27 August 1973, and temp. Brigadier with effect
from 3 September 1973.

ROYAL REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY

2nd Lieutenant M. J. R. Pearce to be Lieutenant with
seniority and effect from 20 June 1973.

Supernumerary List

The engagement of Major F. H. Gibbison is extended
until 5 September 1974.

the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal N.Z. Infantry
Regiment in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant with effect from

Lieutenant Vernon Cyril Goodwin, R.S.H.DIP.PHI., A.M.R.S.H.,
is posted to the Retired List with effect from 19 September
1973.

Y37420 Warrant Officer Class II Garry Theodore Palenski,
Royal N.Z. Army Medical Corps, is appointed to a com-
mission in the rank of Lieutenant with seniority and effect
from 13 July 1973, and is re-engaged until 12 July 1978.

THE CORPS OF ROYAL N.Z. ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL
ENGINEERS

Captain K. A. Lord to be temp. Major with effect from
1 August 1973.

ROYAL N.Z. DENTAL CORPS

The seniority of Captain P. J. Clarke, B.D.S., M.D.S.(OTAGO),
F.A.C.D.S., is ante-dated to 13 July 1967.

Charge Sister E. V. Wallace is re-engaged until 10 May
1975, with effect from 24 August 1973.

Charge Sister M. A. Wilson is re-engaged until 23 August
1974, with effect from 16 August 1973.

Charge Sister Lynley Grace Paterson—The notice published
in the Gazette, 14 June 1973, No. 56, p. 1114, is cancelled
and the following substituted:
