SOUTHLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE is hereby given that the Southland County Council proposes, in pursuance of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road as improvements to the Pig and Whistle Corner on the Wyndham-Mokoreta Road.

A plan of the land proposed to be taken is deposited in the office of the Southland County Council, Clyde Street, Invercargill, and is open for public inspection without fee during ordinary office hours.

All persons having any objection to the proposed taking of land must state their objection in writing and send the same to the Southland County Council, P.O. Box 903, Invercargill, within 40 days of the 25th day of October 1973, being the date of the first publication of this notice.

If any such objection shall be made a public hearing will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

SPECIAL ORDER

THE Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 37, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all other powers enabling it on that behalf, doth hereby resolve by special resolution, intended to operate as a special order, to borrow the sum of three hundred and thirty-seven thousand dollars ($337,000) as a special loan to be known as Parks and Reserves Loan No. 10, 1973, $337,000, for the purposes of and incidental to the development of regional parks and Auckland Centennial Memorial Park.

The foregoing special order was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority held on 17 September 1973 and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Authority held on 15 October 1973, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star on 22nd September and 6 October 1973.
