RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Garage and Depot Loan 1972-$45,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $45,000, authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of carrying out alterations and additions to the County Garage and Depot, situated on State Highway No. 3 south of the Otorohanga County Borough boundary at Otorohanga,

the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.02362c in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Otorohanga; and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully repaid.

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $70,000, authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of installing a new water supply for the County Town of Kawhia, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes a special rate of 2.0839c in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County Town District of Kawhia; and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully repaid.
