The Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 6, 1972
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 6, 1972.
  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
  3. The Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 3, 1967 dated the 14th day of September 1967 under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to Hutt County at Wainuiomata, is hereby revoked.
    SCHEDULE
    SITUATED within Hutt County at Wainuiomata:
    All that area at Wainuiomata bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the north-western side of Puriri Street with the south-western side of Wainuiomata Road; thence northeasterly generally across Wainuiomata Road at right angles to its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence north-easterly generally along a right line to a point on the western side of Fitzherbert Road, 48 chains measured northeasterly generally along the said road from Norfolk Street; thence easterly generally across Fitzherbert Road at right angles to its western side to its eastern side; thence southeasterly generally along a right line to the eastern end of Ruthven Road; thence south-easterly generally along a right line to the northern end of Hair Street; thence south-easterly generally along a right line to a point on the northern side of Moores Valley Road 64 chains measured easterly generally along the said road from Hair Street; thence southerly generally across Moores Valley Road at right angles to its northern side to its southern side; thence southerly generally along a right line to the eastern end of Hine Road; thence south-westerly generally along a right line to the southern end of Sunny Grove; thence south-westerly generally along a right line to a point on the eastern side of Coast Road, 56 chains measured southerly generally along the said road from Hine Road; thence westerly generally across Coast Road at right angles to its eastern side to its western side; thence north-westerly generally along a right line to the south-western end of Kowhai Street; thence northerly generally along a right line to the south-western end of Puriri Street; thence along the north-western side of Puriri Street to the point of commencement.

    The Huntly College Board of Governors Notice 1972
    PURSUANT to section 50 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.
    NOTICE
  4. (1) This notice may be cited as the Huntly College Board of Governors Notice 1972.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1973.
  5. The Board of Governors of Huntly College shall be constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
    (b) Nine members elected by the parents of pupils attending the school;
    (c) One member appointed by the Huntly Borough Council.
  6. This notice is in substitution for the Huntly College Board of Governors Order 1956.

    Railway Land Proclaimed as Street at Mangere
    PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby proclaims as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

    0 0 0.5 Part Fairburns Old Land Claim 269A, being part of the land comprised and described in Gazette, 1916, p. 181, Proclamation No. 3768.
    Situated in Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District.
    As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 27004 (S.O. 47425) deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

    PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby proclaims as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

    0 0 34.4 Part Allotment 5, Section 17, Suburbs of Auckland, being part of the land comprised and described in Proclamation 18907, Gazette, 1962, p. 297.
    Situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District.
    As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 26191 (S.O. 47311) deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue, edged blue.
    Dated at Wellington this 21st day of December 1972.

    The Traffic (Wallace County) Notice No. 1, 1972
    PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
    NOTICE
  7. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Wallace County) Notice No. 1, 1972.
  8. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.
    SCHEDULE
    SITUATED within Wallace County adjacent to Riverton Borough: No. 99 State Highway (Invercargill-Tuatapere via Riverton) (from the western boundary of Riverton Borough to a point 1 chain measured westerly generally along the said State highway from Thames Street).
    Dated at Wellington this 18th day of December 1972.

    Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work (Gisborne- Karaka Railway) at Gisborne and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
    PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 22nd day of December 1972.
