IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Counties Act 1956:

Notice is hereby given that the Thames County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute certain public works, namely, to take land for road and stream diversion, and for the purposes of such public works the land described in the Schedule hereto situated at Puhoi Valley Road, Waiomu, is required to be taken. FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL
Resolution Making Special Rate
Rural Housing Loan 1972-$40,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Featherston County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $40,000 (forty thousand dollars), authorised to be raised by the Featherston County Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of making advances in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Featherston County Council hereby makes a special rate of .02687c in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Featherston and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Featherston County Council on 10 November 1972.
