The Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1969, Amendment
No. 3
PURSUANT to the Milk Act 1967, the Milk Prices Authority
hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- (1) This notice may be cited as the Milk Treatment Allow-
ances Notice 1969, Amendment No. 3.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of
September 1971.
(3) This notice is given after consultation with the Minister
of Agriculture.
(4) This notice amends the Milk Treatment Allowances
Notice 1969* (hereinafter referred to as "the principal notice")
as varied by the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1969,
Amendment No. 1† and the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice
1969, Amendment No. 2‡. - The principal notice is hereby further varied by revoking
items numbered 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 in the Schedule thereto and
replacing the same with the following:
"1. Pasteurisation by treatment station, if the aggregate
gallonage chilled and pasteurised is—
(a) 10,000 gallons per day or over .... .... 3.56
(b) 2,500 gallons or over, but less than 10,000 gallons
per day .... .... .... .... 3.56
(c) 1,000 gallons or over, but less than 2,500 gallons
per day .... .... .... .... 3.76
(d) Less than 1,000 gallons per day .... .... 4.16 - Pasteurisation by treatment station, if such milk is not
stored by refrigeration in the treatment station pending delivery
but is stored elsewhere, and if the aggregate gallonage chilled
and pasteurised is—

(b) 2,500 gallons or over, but less than 10,000 gallons

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956
(as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans
Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to
the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary
to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents
to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective
amounts specified in that Schedule.

The Controlled (Non-Resident) Accounts Notice (No. 2) 1971—
Amendment No. 5
PURSUANT to the Exchange Control Regulations 1965, the
Reserve Bank of New Zealand hereby gives the following
notice.
NOTICE - (a) This notice may be cited as the Controlled (Non-
Resident) Accounts Notice (No. 2) 1971, Amendment No. 5,
and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Con-
trolled (Non-Resident) Accounts Notice (No. 2) 1971* (herein-
after referred to as the principal notice).
(b) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day of
January 1972. - The Third Schedule of the principal notice is hereby
amended by inserting the following names:

The Standards Act 1965—Draft Amendments to New Zealand
Standard Specifications Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act
1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amend-
ments are being circulated:

DZ 1711/258 Draft amendment to NZS 1711: 1962 Model
land drainage bylaw.
NOTE—When issued, this amendment will increase the
penalty for breaches of the bylaw.
DZ 1908/259 Draft amendment to NZS 1908: 1965 PVC-
insulated cables and flexible cords for electric power and
lighting.
NOTE—When issued, this amendment will make provision
for four-core flexible cords for light duty.
All persons who may be affected by these amendments and
who desire to comment thereon may, upon application, obtain
copies on loan from the Standards Association of New Zea-
land, New Zealand Display Centre Building, Sturdee Street (or
Private Bag), Wellington 1.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 25 February -

British Specification Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act
1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amend-
ment is being circulated:

DZ 7841/257 Draft New Zealand amendment to BS 3193: 1967
Glass components for domestic appliances.
NOTE—When issued, the amendment will place on record
the formal declaration of BS 3193: 1967 as a New Zealand
standard, and will introduce explanatory amendments
together with a requirement for light transmission.
All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who
desire to comment thereon may, upon application, obtain a
copy on loan from the Standards Association of New Zealand,
New Zealand Display Centre Building, Sturdee Street (or
Private Bag), Wellington 1.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 25 February -
