Road Closed and Vested in Block III, Highlay Survey District, and Block XIV, Swinburn Survey District, Waihemo County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the First and Second Schedules hereto and declares that the road described in the said First Schedule, when so closed, together with the road first to eleventhly (inclusive) described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, shall vest in Iris Matheson of Waihemo, married woman, and Robert Cameron White of Dunedin, public accountant, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 298806, 298807, 318113, 155839, and 351734, Otago Land Registry, and as to the road described in the said First Schedule subject to Electricity Agreement No. 344205, Otago Land Registry; also declares that the road lastly described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, shall vest in Lawrence William Matheson of Palmerston, farmer, subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948.

Declaring Land Taken for State Housing Purposes in Block V, Belmont Survey District, Borough of Tawa, and Previous Declaration Revoked

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the Declaration dated the 18th day of May 1972 and published in Gazette, 25 May 1972, No. 43, p. 1114, taking an interest in land and declaring land held for Maori housing purposes set apart for State housing purposes in Block V, Belmont Survey District, Borough of Tawa, and hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State housing purposes from and after the 2nd day of November 1972.
