DECISION OF THE TRIBUNAL
THIS book is one of a series dealing with sexual life including, if the advertisement on the cover is any guide, the sadistic perversions.
The text is not clinical or academic but consists of a slight story of two young lovers enjoying a day on the beach. This “story” is the occasion for profuse illustration in photographic plates (both in colour and in black and white) of all the nuances of erotic delight. While there is nothing corrupting in these pictures there seems very slight justification for spelling out in such explicit form the intimacies of sexual desire and satisfaction. There comes a point where stimulus to the imagination passes over into the stultifying of it, which perhaps happens here.
The tone, however, is sincere and natural enough; the only ground of objection could be the illustrations of oral sex, but these are few.
Because of the adult nature of its content some restriction should be placed on the sale and display of this book. The Tribunal classifies this book as indecent in the hands of persons under the age of 18 years.
