Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release a certain parcel of that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1972, No. 54.

The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Assignment of Foreshore Licence for Fish Shed at Port Fitzroy, Great Barrier Island
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Executive Officer, Harbours, Foreshores, and Pollution Section, Marine Division, Ministry of Transport, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Transport pursuant to section 265A of the aforesaid Act, hereby gives notice that the licence granted to Seafoods Ltd. on 21 December 1966* and amended on 1 December 1969† to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Great Barrier Island is hereby assigned to John Joseph Enwright and Eugene Francis Enwright (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns).

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Meat Act 1964, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries for the purposes of the said section, notice is hereby given as follows:
- The Te Aroha Abattoir District shall henceforth comprise:
The Borough of Te Aroha;
The County of Piako.

The Piako County Council shall be the controlling authority of the Te Aroha Abattoir.

This notice shall come into effect from a date to be announced by the Piako County Council following the issue to the Council of a certificate of registration under section 16 of the Meat Act 1964.
