Declaring Land Taken for Water Supply Purposes in Block II, Akatarawa Survey District, Hutt County

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken subject as to Lots 1, 5, and 6, D.P. 8994, to the reservation as to coal, gold, and silver stated in certificate of title, Volume 423, folio 35, Wellington Land Registry, for water supply purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington from and after the 2nd day of October 1972.

ALL that piece of land containing 217 acres 1 rood 21.8 perches situated in Block II, Akatarawa Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being part of Section 2 of the said Block and part of Section 414 of the Hutt District, the parts of the said Section 2 being also Lots 1, 5, and 6, D.P. 8994. Declaring Land Taken for River Control Purposes in Block VII, Town of Matura, Borough of Matura

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for river control purposes and shall vest in the Southland Catchment Board from and after the 2nd day of October 1972.
