being objections to the amount or payment of compensation,
set forth the same in writing and send the written objection
within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the
Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection
is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the
objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires,
and each objector will be advised of the time and place of
the hearing.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the
land described in the First Schedule hereto, proclaims as closed
the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, and takes
the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the
purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29; also pro-
claims that the road first described in the said Second Schedule
shall, when so closed, vest in John Burns Ferguson, of
Tautoro, company director, and Joan Vivien Ferguson, his
wife; also proclaims that the road secondly and thirdly des-
cribed in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in
Kaikohe Tungroves (N.Z.) Limited, a registered company
having its registered office at Auckland; also proclaims that
the road fourthly, sixthly, seventhly, and tenthly described in
the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in
Kenneth Harry Price of Auckland, motor body builder; also
proclaims that the road fifthly described in the said Second
Schedule and the land first described in the said Third
Schedule shall, when so closed and taken respectively, vest in
Roger John Galilee, of Kaikohe, farmer, subject to memoran-
dum of mortgage A. 220527, North Auckland Land Registry;
also proclaims that the road eighthly described in the said
Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in the said Roger
