Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release a certain parcel of that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1972, No. 41.

The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Cancellation of Maori Reservation
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated 8 September 1948 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 16 September 1948, No. 50, p. 1172, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto was set aside as a Maori reservation; and whereas it is desired to cancel the reservation pursuant to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, notice is hereby given as follows:
(1) The reservation constituted by order in Council published in the New Zealand Gazette, 16 September 1948, No. 50, p. 1172, is hereby cancelled.

Assigning Foreshore Licence for Landing Stage at Henley in Taieri River
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Executive Officer, Harbours, Foreshores, and Pollution Section, Marine Department, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Marine and Fisheries, pursuant to section 265A of the aforesaid Act, hereby gives notice that the licence granted to Henley Hotel Holdings Ltd. on 6 July 1971* to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Taieri River at Henley is hereby assigned to Peter John Sullivan.

Licensing Hamilton City Council to Occupy a Site for a Boat Ramp in Waikato River at Hamilton
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, the Executive Officer, Harbours, Foreshores, and Pollution Section, Marine Department, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Marine and Fisheries, pursuant to section 265A of the aforesaid Act, hereby licenses and permits Hamilton City Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of the Waikato River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 14686 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto. The licence of 30 June 1964*, as amended on 23 July 1969†, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of August 1972.
(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be 10c payable on demand; provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours for Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Porirua Licensing Trust
PURSUANT to section 34B of the Licensing Trusts Act 1949, I, Eric Alderson Missen, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Porirua Licensing Trust passed the following resolution:
“That on any day other than a day on which premises are required to be closed, the Trust Bottle Store located in commercial premises at Greenmeadows Centre in Rawhiti Road, Pukerua Bay, will open and close as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (with an hour for midday meal breaks)—10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday—10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Closed all day Wednesday.”
