ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Intellectually Handicapped Children’s Society (Incorporated), Marlborough Branch, Order 1972.

  2. The Intellectually Handicapped Children’s Society (Incorporated), Marlborough Branch, an organisation approved by the Minister of Labour under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, is hereby granted exemption in respect of the sheltered workshop at 182 Weld Street, Blenheim, from:

(a) All the provisions of every award and industrial agreement which would otherwise be applicable in respect of persons employed in that workshop; and

(b) Section 34 of the Factories Act 1946 and all the provisions of the Annual Holidays Act 1944 and the Minimum Wage Act 1945.

Constitution of the Taumarunui Hydatids Control District
(Notice No. 339 Ag. 21171)

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 31st day of July 1972

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Taumarunui Hydatids Control District Order 1972.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The respective districts of the Borough and County of Taumarunui and the Town district of Ohura, as from time to time constituted, are hereby declared to be united to form a hydatids control district to be called the Taumarunui Hydatids Control District.

  2. The Taumarunui County Council is hereby appointed the hydatids control authority for the Taumarunui Hydatids Control District.

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Waimate Hydatids Control District Order 1972.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The respective districts of the County of Waimate and the Borough of Waimate, as from time to time constituted, are hereby declared to be united to form a hydatids control district to be called the Waimate Hydatids Control District.

  2. The Waimate County Council is hereby appointed the hydatids control authority for the Waimate Hydatids Control District.

Defining Limits of Taharoa Pilotage District

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

PURSUANT to section 211 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby define the limits of the Taharoa Pilotage District, within which pilots may act for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, to be all the area of water bounded by the line of mean high-water spring tides and having as its seaward limits the arc of a circle of 3 nautical miles radius centred at 38° 10.7′ S 174° 42.4′ E near Wainui Stream entrance.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 27th day of July 1972.

Representative of the Employees of the Northland Harbour Board Appointed to Northland Harbour Board Appeal Board

PURSUANT to section 45 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Maurice Owen Gabolinscy

to be a member of the appeal board set up in accordance with an appeal by Ian Ronald Merritt against the Northland Harbour Board’s appointment of Charles Watney Sibun to the position of radio operator at Marsden Point.

PURSUANT to section 45 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

to be a member of the appeal board set up in connection with an appeal by Evert William Seunninga against the decision of the Timaru Harbour Board concerning the appointment of Gilbert Henry MacMillan to the position of works foreman.
