Declaring Land in the Canterbury Land District, Vested
in the Canterbury Education Board as a Site for a School,
to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being
an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a site for
a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed
and discharged from every education trust affecting the same,
but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements
affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE
Canterbury Land District—Waikawa County
Reserve 4048 situated in Block II, Akaroa Survey District:
area, 1 acre and 2 roods, more or less (S.O. Plan 1544L).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
lst day of August 1972.

Permanent State Forest Land Set Apart as State Forest Park
ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 63A (1) (a) of the Forests Act 1949, I,
Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby set apart the permanent State forest land
described in the First Schedule hereto and further described in
the Second Schedule hereto as a State forest park, to be known
as Rimutaka State Forest Park.

FIRST SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY—
FEATHERSTON COUNTY
Firstly, all that area in the Wellington Land District containing 32,587 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing
at the easternmost corner of Orongorongo A1 in Block X,
Pencarrow S.D., and proceeding north-westerly along the north-
eastern boundary of Orongorongo A1 to the summit of the
Rimutaka Range; thence generally north-easterly along the
summit of the Rimutaka Range to and along the south-eastern
and north-eastern boundaries of Section 104, Wainuiomata
District, in Blocks VIII and IX, Rimutaka S.D., to and along
the summit of the Rimutaka Range to and along the northern
boundary of Section 116, Western Lake District, in Blocks III
and IV, Rimutaka S.D., to and along the summit of the
Rimutaka Range to the western boundary of Section 351,
Featherston Suburban, and along the western and northern
boundaries of the said Section 351, the eastern boundary of
Section 21, Pakuratahi District, the south-eastern and north-
eastern boundaries of Section 25, Pakuratahi District, and the
