KAIKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:

Notice is hereby given that the Kaikohe Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, to lay out and construct a service lane off Mangakahia Road; and for the purposes of such public work the lands as described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk, situate in Memorial Avenue, Kaikohe, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by taking of such lands must state their objections, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of the notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Memorial Avenue, Kaikohe.

Should an objection be made, a public hearing will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and that each objector will be advised of the time and date of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR STREET

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:

Notice is hereby given that the Rotorua City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a public road or street, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the City of Rotorua situated at Arawa Street in the City of Rotorua, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during office hours.

Every person affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of any of the said lands, who may have any objection which he may wish to make to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must set forth his objection in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, addressed to him at the Council Office, Arawa Street, in the City of Rotorua. If any such objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

All that piece of land containing 11.25 perches, more or less, being part of Ohinewaiura No. 7 Block, and part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 250, folio 120, South Auckland Registry, and being part of the lands coloured blue on Survey Office Plan 34652, and situated to the west of the road line known as Whittakers Road.

  2. All that piece of land containing 21.83 perches more or less, being part of the Ohinewaiura Block, and being the land coloured yellow, edged yellow, on Survey Office Plan 34652, and being part of and situated at the southern end of the said road line.

  3. All that piece of land containing 11.20 perches, more or less, being part of Ohinewaiura No. 8 Block, and part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 221, folio 82, South Auckland Registry, and being other part of the lands coloured blue on Survey Office Plan 34652, and situated to the east of the said road line.

  4. All that piece of land containing 7.64 perches, more or less, being part of Te Miringa No. 2 Block, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 320, folio 85, South Auckland Registry, and being part of the lands coloured sepia on Survey Office Plan 34652, and situated to the west of the said road line.

  5. All that piece of land containing 30.5 perches, more or less, being part of the Te Miringa Block, and coloured yellow on Survey Office Plan 34652, and being part of the said road line and situated to the north of the land above-described as No. 2.

  6. All that piece of land containing 7.45 perches, more or less, being part of the Te Miringa 2A Block, and part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 322, folio 260, South Auckland Registry, and being other part of the lands coloured sepia on Survey Office Plan 34652, and situated to the east of the said road line.

  7. All that piece of land containing 2.91 perches, more or less, being part of Te Miringa 1B2A Block, and part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 821, folio 192, South Auckland Registry, and being other part of the lands coloured blue on Survey Office Plan 34652, and situated to the west of the said road line.

  8. All that piece of land containing 4.89 perches, more or less, being part of the Te Miringa 1B2B Block, and other part of the lands coloured sepia on Survey Office Plan 34652, situated to the west of the said road line.

All which pieces of land are situated in Block I, Tarawera Survey District, in the City of Rotorua.

POUTU STREAM—CLOSED SEASON FOR TROUT FISHING

PURSUANT to regulation 30 of the Rotoaira Trout Fishing Regulations 1959/206, the duly appointed trustees of Lake Rotoaira hereby give notice that fishing for trout in that part of the Poutu Stream defined by the said regulations (from the mouth at Lake Rotoaira to waterfall) shall be prohibited absolutely as from the date following the publication of this notice until the 1st day of December 1972.

LAKE ROTOAIRA—CLOSED SEASON FOR TROUT FISHING

PURSUANT to regulation 30 of the Rotoaira Trout Fishing Regulations 1959/206, the duly appointed trustees of Lake Rotoaira hereby give notice that fishing for trout in Lake Rotoaira shall be prohibited absolutely as from the day following the publication of this notice until the 1st day of September 1972.
