PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities
Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the
Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby
consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned
in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the
respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Temporary Protection of Industry

Authority has been requested to undertake an inquiry, in
terms of the Tariff and Development Board Act 1961 and
its amendments, and to report, in terms of section 100 of that
Act, concerning the following goods:

  1. Radio broadcast receivers whether or not combined with
    sound recorders or reproducers: mounted in cabinets falling
    within Tariff Item 85.15.101.

  2. Wine of fresh grapes, falling within Tariff Items
    22.05.001, 22.05.011, 22.05.021, 22.05.029, 22.05.031, 22.05.039,
    22.06.001, 22.06.011 and 22.06.019.
